What is the need for another leader now in TamilNadu?

Karunanidhi is pretty much still in politics. Jaya is still in command. Even Vijayakanth acknowledges she was good and she is the only one who keeps giving to people like MGR. Infact if everything goes well and with little luck she can be back in 2006.

Actually right now there is no vaccum for new political leaders in Tamilnadu with that background. So why do Vijayakanth is making the move of floating a new party?
Karunanidhi's exit will only will create that vaccum. On his exit there will be a few support including their own party men for Stalin. Either DMK will sink or Vaiko will be holding DMK's mantle.

Atlernatively Jaya wealth case results may affect her. Ilangovan, Ramadoss and his son are pretty much clowns who were needed to entertain Tamilnadu audience. So we cannot count them.

Except Jaya (with 1st priority) and Vaiko (in 2nd place) no one has the chances. People aren't showing any signs that they will trust Vaiko to rule their state of affairs. Majority of them see him as Parlimentarian and may like to stick with that.

This creates a situation where there is a vaccum for strong opposition people favours.

At that time, we need a leader who was in making now!

Who is cooking now? Vijayakanth. Captain was really making measured leaps from making his fan clubs participating in city/muncipal level electorates. When there is no good alternatives people might vote for him.

Shall we trust him? An individual may be good. Good choice for power. We also have to see whether he has the ability to control other power centres built around him. If we look at the recent interviews and photos of Vijayakanth, its anyone guess Mrs. Vijayakanth is behind his decisions. It can be anything from Hubby-Honey comforts to some shoulder. If anything beyond that is power center in hold of puppet. In political words, Vijayakanth may end be being a mask.

I happend to watch Vijay TV (?) which aired "A day with Vijaykanth" kind, majority of the show went on to preach how "Viji" was good to his sister, his people like that. And surprisingly Mrs. Vijayakanth was the host presenting from her grand living room with a plasma on the back introducing each family member and ask them to share about Vijayakanth which proved she was in command of the family too. Anyone who has seen TV shows of this kind will realise, normally relationships were not introduced except the guest or otherwise it will be displayed on bold letters while they talk.

This is a great concern I have about Vijayakanth holding a high seat. That's why I think Vijaykanth's Chair race is fueled by his Mrs. dream engine.

Although it's too early to be doubtful, let's welcome Vijayakanth and hear what will be his party agenda different from others.

Financing Thiruvasagam Oratorio

Why Ilayiraja went on to get finances when he himself can afford 1 crore for a project that's so dear to him?

Ilaiyaraja confesses in one of his interviews, he approached some big wigs about financing the project "Thiruvasagam" and he didn't like the way they approached it.

Ilaiyaraja also explains, he wanted public participation towards the project. O.K.
That means he doesn't want to pay from his pocket or take from any individuals like a Producer or an Audio company.

An obvious thing to do is to register a trust with an objective of promoting Thiruvasagam. Invite donations towards the cause and go recording. If it was a trust, automatically all the auditing and tracking falls into place. If that was transparent no body will wonder what the money went for.

Instead he took the offer from Tamil maiyam partnership which went on to collect money in the form of loans. That means the loan has to be repaid. And the people who loaned were given a view that they will be repaid with interest(or in professional terms, get a share on the profits, this is what i understood from reading some of the threads posted here.)
Given the past, now Ilayaraja has proved his credibility. People will not doubt about his intention in forming a trust or worry that their money may be misused. You must have realised this album has created an interest for Tamil literature in some who originally funded this project as Ilaiyaraja fan.

Instead of waiting for sponsor, Ilaiyaraja should form a trust and all like minded people will join hands. Why don't that start an audio company and hold all the rights for this? With volunteers like everyone who does to protect its audio rights, appealing to own a copy will make that successful. May be there can be an agreement that Ilayaraja get royalty for the music he scores.
Also to caution, majority of these trusts were losing their "trust" after their founders lifetime. To avoid that, Ilayairaja can detach these things to Govt to promote Tamil literature after his period. If you worry about TN govt, take a help from our beloved president Kalam to nationalise these treasures.

Some are questioning about its leaning towards "religion". If you take Indian literature or music, 90% of them are written on Gods only. It doesn't matter whose god or which god. It's GOD and it was classified as literature and it has its own status. Period.

NEWS - Uncensored

Even a channel with only Three 30 minute feed NEWS session are starving for stories. Imagine the plight of 24/7 live NEWS channels.

The result: they make NEWS anything of it. So you get to watch sensational news like "Early morning walkers got bite by stray dogs. Is our corporation working?"
If the world goes making Reality TV shows, India has its own version. Hurray! Sting Operation. It's better than the origianl. More sleazy, More Crime, Super stars.

In down South, its worst than ever as the channels turned to be a propaganda medium for their affiliated parties. They got the power to kill other news program and they did it. With neutral news channels gone, Tamilians are going crazy what news to believe or not.

All these channels are good at onething, showing the gory details of an casualty or a crime situation. TV channels zoom into a suicide scene as the body is still hanging on. Close ups of the shot in encounter bodies and sometimes naked ones. The murdered ones floating in blood.

They are responsible for creating a genaration who are not sensitive to unnatural deaths. They were able to brush the scene as they think it never happens to them. And it's becomes nothing but another statistic for the people nowadays.

I don't understand what these so called "Women Wings" and "left wings" are doing? They don't have time to condemnt these things. Rather they enjoy their own special moments on TV talking about something they oppose outside and agree inside.

We know how big 9/11 tragedy was. That time none of the American TV's showed dead bodies. There were reports that lot of photos and on-camera moments when the people jumped out of the building are there, but none came to the public. All TV's stood by the tragedy and try not to create a panic.

But Indian channels doesn't have to obey any regulatory bodies, they can air whatever they way.Their aim is to create "sensation by panic".

High time, we need censors and a movement.

I was having this view, that Vijayakanth will
enter mainstream politics whether Superstar
makes it or not from the day he released his
Fans Flag and started promoting the flag in
his movies. After "Sokka Thangam", he picked his movie
titles like "Vallarasu", "Rajangam", "Perarasu".

It become more evident that he has some plans
when he turned the "Cavery Demonstration" by
film industry as his own fans rally in
Neyveli inspite of Jayalalitha's vigilence on
it. Dare he is.

There was no issues in the Actors Association
and gained confidence to be on the president
chair again. No complaints. Any issues, he
solved it "Chinna Gounder" way we suppose.
:). By clearing its dues, he proved to be an
effective leader and looks like no one has
issues with him.

Now he's going to float his own party.
A carefully orchestrated master plan goes
well so far for Vijayakanth. Who's behind it?
Definitely, the dream engine of
Mrs.Vijayakanth pulls that "Puratchi
Kalaingar" train.

Anniyan - Anniyamai

I haven't watched this movie yet. From friends I heard the storyline. Also got to read and saw some clippings on this particular seen where Anniyan send herd of buffalos to punish one guy. His fault: He didn't stop in an accident spot to help the diceased.

But the scene goes like this: Lot many on that road drives without stopping. Seeing this Anniyan, comes to the center of the road and tries to block the vehicle. By seeing him, one guy seeing him in the middle of the road, tries to avert him and rams into side of the road.
And yo'all, Director Shankar sees an incident to teach you.

Turn into reality:If you want to help some accident victims, you are the one to suffer. If you help a person, and you will be the one dragged to police station and court as a witness. And imagine it was a brutal murder and you just intend to help. Hell the consequences you dream of. Nobody wants to go through this for being kind.

Individuals are ready to help provided they are left un-disturbed for the kindness they shared. They were tired of the consequences. We have witnessed Kumbakonam Fire accident and Tsunami where people reached out for help. It didn't come out of force. In all these incidents there were no consequences for the individulas helped except their satisfaction.The trained Kumbakonam emergency service came in handy during the fire accident. Infact they were prepared for Kumbakonam Mahamaham to avoid any casualty's happened the previous time.
Now everybody got cellphones and there are coin booths, local booths every km. Nobody will find offensive if they have to call an arrangement which takes care of the diseased.Imagine a system where you have a dedicated line which can be reached by anyone and once the spot is told, the rest will be taken care.

Shankar should have used the big budget to explain such system (like Paramedics in US) people thinking will be focused and the administration will be forced to try something like that.
Rather Shankar aimed at just exaggeration and presents the extreme anger you want to vend always.

Anniyan - It's not a help to solve something that we know it exists.
